The demystification and health benefits of eating meat–How is the social identity of the carnivore person destigmatizing meat consumption?

ABSTRACT. The paper looks at the subjective experience and the processes of identiy making of people who choose a carnivore diet. Through the analysis of web posts and comments, the author is attempting to show how these processes work towards destigmatizing the practice of eating meat in the current context.
